The main
purpose of a rolling mill is to continuously heat semi-product steel or another
metal sheet close to its melting temperature.
By using flush-seamed roll stands that work with an engine, the metals
can be turned into a thinner and longer form which will then turn a straight
plate into a roll.
Rolling is
obtaining uniform thickness by decreasing the metal thickness in metalwork. The
purpose is to obtain a uniform thickness by using multiple rolls. This machine
is especially used for turning steel blocks into metal sheets. The temperature
of the metal is changed while the metal is crystallized with the right pressure
and force.
There are
various types such as ring rolling, profile rolling, controlled rolling and
roll bending. The hard roll on the rolling machine body is called a stand. The
operation and output of the rolling machine depend on the number of rolls and
the sequence of the stand.
